- Ordering
- The following terms and conditions govern the use of mikamou.com.au. By placing an order on our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to revise these terms and conditions from time to time, so please revisit our policies before placing subsequent orders. Mikamou is in no way liable for any loss, or any financial loss suffered in connection with the use of this website.
Please note that you may need to provide us with further identification as a means to ensure that Mikamou does not enter into any transactions with anyone who wishes to use a credit card in a fraudulent or unauthorized manner. Mikamou reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion. If we cannot process or accept your order you will be notified via email or telephone and be provided with a refund.
- Payment Methods
- Direct Deposit (in Australian Dollars)
A convenient method of payment, you can do direct deposit via the internet or over the counter at any WBC bank. Account details will be displayed at checkout and in your order confirmation email. Please remember to quote your order number as a reference. The order will be dispatched once the funds have cleared into Mikamou account. All Direct Deposits must be cleared within two business days or we reserve the right to cancel the order.
Credit Card (in Australian Dollars)
Make payments online with your Visa or MasterCard. Upon checkout, simply select the option to pay by credit card. You will be redirected to a secure server page where you can enter your credit card information. All of your personal information is protected by a 256 bit SSL certificate issued by Geo Trust and is only retained for the purposes of processing your order. - Alternatively, if you prefer not to pay with your credit card online, you may contact us to order and we can arrange payment over the phone. You will be required to submit an order form by facsimile.
- Shipping & Delivery
- After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order details (if you have provided your email address and paid by credit card). Mikamou will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering.
Domestic orders received will be dispatched within 48 business hours for a flat rate of $9.90. Once dispatched, it is expected that your parcel will arrive to you within 3 days. Although, some out the way or remote locations may take longer. Please note parcels to Western Australia will arrive between 7 and 10 days. All parcels are bar coded and able to be tracked. All parcels will require a signature upon delivery, therefore we recommend a work address if this is more convenient for you. If sent by courier and you are not present when the parcel arrives, a calling card will be left so you can arrange another delivery time. Please arrange re-delivery promptly to avoid the parcel being returned to Mikamou. If returned to Mikamou you will be charged another $9.90 for delivery. If sent by Australia Post and you are not present when the parcel arrives, a card will be left informing you that your parcel can be collected at your local post office.
- International orders received will be dispatched within 48 business hours via Australia Post Registered Air Mail. Delivery can take up to 10 days depending on location. Please contact via email for a quote before checkout. Please note that some countries impose taxes on parcels and Mikamou will not be held responsible for these extra charges. Please note that these prices will not show at the checkout, but will be calculated and charged to your card after you place the order. Please be aware that you may be charged a currency conversion fee by your banking institution. Please check with your banking institution for any fees you may be charged prior to placing your order as we are not responsible for any additional fees charged to you by any third party.
- Please note we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.
- Please keep in mind – Mikamou does not dispatch on weekends or public holidays.
November and December are very busy periods due to Christmas purchases which may cause some orders to take a little longer to be delivered. - Privacy & Security
- At Mikamou we recognize and respect the importance of maintaining the privacy of our customers. We do not sell, trade, disclose or give-away any information we may have on any of our customers or members. - Returns & Replacements
- Mikamou wants you to be happy with your shopping experience and if for some reason you feel dissatisfied with your purchase then please contact us within 7 days of receiving your purchase. Please email returns@mikamou.com.au with notification of the item/s and reason for the return and we will respond with instructions on how to proceed.
- Items for return will only be accepted provided they are in their original state, unworn, unwashed and with tags or packaging still intact. You will be able to choose an exchange or store credit. All returns will be approved at our discretion and if Mikamou quality control notes that the item has been damaged or worn we reserve the right to return the item back to you with no exchange or store credit. All postage and insurance costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend that you return the item, including a self –addressed insured prepaid satchel for an exchange, via registered post as you assume any risk of lost or damaged goods during transit. Mikamou will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.
- Out of Stock
- Occasionally unforeseen demand or supply issues may result in stock being unavailable. As we use an automated inventory system, if an item is out of stock, it will say so on the product page. We welcome you to contact us if you wish to place an item on back order.
- Gift Wrapping
- All items purchased at Mikamou are nicely wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with our signature logo . For an additional $2.00 we are happy to gift wrap your order and write a gift card for you. Please let us know what you would like written in the card at the comments box during checkout and we will also ensure prices/receipts are not attached to the gift.
- Gift Certificates
- Not sure what would be the perfect gift. Purchase a Gift Certificate and let your loved one choose for themselves. All you need to do to order is click on the Gift Certificate link at the bottom of the page. Type in the value amount of the Gift Certificate that you would like to purchase and add to cart. Then proceed to the checkout as you would for any other purchase. Once your order has been confirmed and paid for, you will be emailed a unique code that will credit the amount of your gift certificate to the recipient at checkout and all you need to do is forward the email with the voucher code to the recipient.

- Prices are subject to change without notice. While we try to keep enough stock in our store, items may occasionally go out of stock before the site is updated. If this ever happens, we will always contact you before processing your order.

- We are excited to receive products sent to us for our consideration in stocking on our website from new designers and labels. We will endeavour to provide feedback to you about your product/s within 7 days. Please include a pre-paid post satchel if you would like your product to be returned to you.

Therefore, colours displayed should be considered as a guide only as Mikamou cannot guarantee that the colour you see on the website matches the product colour.
- While Mikamou makes every effort to provide current and accurate information, we do not guarantee the currency or accuracy of such information and acknowledge that from time to time there may be information on our website that contains typographical and or pictorial errors or omissions that may relate to product descriptions and pricing. - Choking Hazard Disclaimer
- The Oscar Blue and Pearl accessories have not been tested for safety and may therefore pose a choking risk for children under the age of 3 years. Babies or children wearing these accessories should be supervised at all times.
